Manchester United And Liverpool Target Barcelona Forward As He Looks For Way Out, But What Could He Offer The Premier League?

Football players have a lot of options across their careers. When they are at a club but not playing, do they stay and sit on the money they are earning or do they look elsewhere for first team football to retain their match fitness and their reputation? This seems to be the case for Barcelona's Pedro, who is said to be keen to leave La Liga giants Barcelona, with Manchester United and Liverpool both keeping an eye on proceedings. But what could he offer the Premier League?

The 26-year-old is primarily a winger who plays on the right, though he also comfortable on the other flank. He's a nippy little player who is able to weave between opponents and whip balls into the box, but his main strength is his passing. He has completed 86% of his attempted balls this season in the Spanish topflight.

He's also impressive in front of goal. He uses his mobility to make space for himself and get between centre-backs before slotting past the keeper - something he's done on seven occasions this season. He's often found darting down the flanks, knocking the ball inside and then continuing his run looking for the return, before smashing balls into the box.

His record says it all, for both club and country, and he would be a welcome addition to the Premier League.
