Moyes 'Concerned' About Arsenal's Lead At The Top, But Here Are 3 Reasons Why He Shouldn't Be

After 13 Premier League games into David Moyes' Manchester United career, the Old Trafford outfit sit in eighth in the table. Now, the former Everton boss is concerned about the lead that Arsenal hold over them, as you can hear in the video below, but here are three reasons why he shouldn't be, just yet.

    1) Strike force

Wayne Rooney has been one of the standout players this season in the Premier League and has undoubtedly flourished under the guidance of Moyes. He has already scored 10 goals this season in his 19 appearances and is looking sharper every game, and to think that United also have last season's top scorer Robin van Persie, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck to choose from, United shouldn't be worried about out-scoring anyone.

They also have an abundance of wide men who can score goals, including Adnan Januzaj, Antonio Valencia and Nani.

    2) Home form

It's not as impressive as city rivals Manchester City, but United's form at Old Trafford is notoriously good. This season they have played six games at home, winning three, drawing two and losing the other to West Brom.

They have the potential to really capitalise on their home support and the intimidation that surrounds the place, and if they do then they have more than enough to challenge for the title.

    3) January

It will be a big, big transfer window for Moyes in January. Buy smartly and they should see themselves challenge in all competitions that they are still in, but mess it up and they could fall even further behind the pack.
