3 Bayern Munich Players Who Could Hurt Manchester City Tonight

Manchester City travel to Germany this evening to take on one of the most in-form clubs on the planet, Bayern Munich. The Bavarians are have won their last 10 Champions League games on the spin which smashed the previous record set by Barcelona, and have won their last 18 home games and are the current holders.

It seems astonishing for a team to be so strong, but even more so that I have to choose only three from the side who I think can hurt City tonight.

With Arjen Robben injured, here are my three.

    1) Mario Madzukic

The Croatia international may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he scores goals and spearheads the attack nicely.

So far in the Bundesliga he's scored nine goals in 15 appearances and he has another two in three in the Champions League.

He could be up against Vincent Kompany who has jut returned from injury, so the  forward may be able to produce some change from the Belgian.

    2) Franck Ribery

Placed into the top three to win the biggest individual award in football, the Ballon d'or, this week, Ribery will be on a high.

He has been key to the success that Bayern have had over the last year or so and has been impeccable this time round too. He's scored three in four games in Europe, creating 15 chances, but also scored six and made36 key balls in his 12 Bundesliga appearances.

    3) Toni Kroos

Kroos is criminally underrated in the European set up but those who watch him week in week out know just what he's about.

He has completed a remarkable 96% of his passes in the competition this season and 92% in the league, 16 of which have been key, and will need to be doubled up on and squeezed out of possession at every opportunity if City want to boss the midfield.
