A Statistical Look At The Chelsea Trio Who Have Impressed Me Most This Season

Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge looks as if though it was a positive move as the Blues sit just four points behind leaders Arsenal right now, and although they have looked impressive as a team, there have been three players who have impressed me most. Eden Hazard, John Terry and Ramires are the trio I refer to, and here's a little look as to why.

Hazard is an exceptional talent. He has created 22 chances already this season in just 12 games, as well as scoring four goals. He has hit the target with 10 of his 15 shots and completed 82% of his passes. He has found himself being fouled often, 29 times to be precise, but has won over half of his 49 take ons.

Next up is Terry, who has slotted effortlessly back into the Blues backline. He has played every minute of the west London club's Premier League campaign so far and thrived under the guidance of the Special One, winning 44/64 of his headed duels,  averaging nine defences actions per game and completing 92% of his passes - the best percentage at the club.

Ramires has run things from the middle of the pitch this season and is another player who has played in every single second in the league. He has made 15 key passes, won 12/23 of his headers and completed 86% of his passes.

The trio have been essential to Chelsea's early season success, and for that I salute them.
