Is the Premier League missing a trick with Paulinho? (Video)

He is the current eye candy for Inter Milan and they have been willing to let the highly talented Philippe Coutinho and Wesley Sneijder in order to give them a chance to fund a transfer for the talented Corinthians playmaker.

Paulinho is apparently willing to make the move to return to Europe after stints in Lithuania and Poland previously. His abundance of talent could make him alluring to several of the Premier League's top sides.

The 15-20 million Euros asking price isn’t exactly cheap but to buy the elusive midfielder who can fill the position that is hailed as the ‘Makelele’ holding role, a no nonsense player willing to put in a challenge, comes at a premium these days.

That extra bite in midfield is even missing at the club at very top in Manchester United and Manchester City, so they do worse than let their scouts give this player the once over.

He is well known for his aerial prowess, mental toughness and is a traditional box to box midfielder that can ‘take the game by the scruff of the neck’ when there is need for a gritty player to grind out a result. To add an extra cherry on top of the cake he is extremely capable of picking the locks to break down defences at the other end and chip in with a few goals too.

Inter Milan have gone to extreme lengths to try and make space for the Brazilian and you have to wonder if a Premier League club should see this and try and steal a march before he ends up in Serie A.
