Radamel Falcao Garcia, the world's greatest striker (Video)

For me currently there is no better striker in world football than Atletico Madrid’s Colombian sensation Radamel Falcao!

Since his arrival at the Vicente Caledron Stadium last summer, Falcao has scored goals for fun! In his last two games alone for the Madrid side he has an incredible six goals (scoring hat-tricks against both Atletico Bilbao and Chelsea). The reported target of numerous English clubs, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Colombian international join the Premier League next season.

Falcao has everything a world-class centre forward requires: he’s strong, quick, great in air, and most importantly the penalty area. Many pundits questioned whether he was worth the €40million (£32million) Atletico spent on him; however an incredible 42 goals in 53 games for the Los Colchoneros, has ensured it was money well spent!

His goal tally in the Europa League is ridiculously good, scoring 30 goals in 31 games in the competition over the last two years as both Madrid and his former club Porto went on to lift the trophy; however with Atletico missing out on a Champions League spot, there will always be the question of whether he can handle Europe’s elite club competition. I’m sure Falcao will get his chance in the Champions League with either Atletico Madrid or whoever his next move will be to, as he is simply too good not to succeed!

When I say Falcao is the greatest centre forward, I’m obviously not including both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in this, as for me neither of them are an out and out striker! And in a way Falcao is slightly unlikely to be in the same league as these two, as in pretty much every other league in the world he’d be the top goalscorer and his stats would look all the better.

Considering his last move was hardly the cheapest, the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea will have to break the bank if they want to bring Falcao to their club; however he’s proved it before and he’ll prove it again, that it’ll be money well spent!
