Are Bayern Munich becoming a Celtic of the Bundesliga? (VIDEO)

They have been and are still regarded as a European supreme in club football. Bayern Munich year in year out are seen as one of the best teams in Europe. In my eyes in the Champions League Bayern Munich are as much of a threat to English teams as Barcelona and Real Madrid are.

They are currently the Champions League runners-up and are once again well on top of the Bundesliga. What I have been wondering recently is, are they a club that is head and shoulders above the rest of those in Germany.

As we all know Celtic are a well known team that are consistently better than the rest in Scotland and therefore you wouldn’t need to be much of a betting person to risk putting a tenner on Celtic to win the Scottish Premier league. It is almost a dead cert.

This is becoming an increasing attitude in Germany. So far this season Bayern Munich have won every single match, they are five points clear at the top, they have scored 21 goals, conceded 2 goals and this is only after 7 league games. Yes some may say that it is a bit early on the season to determine the outcome of a league season but early indications state that Bayern Munich could win a 22nd Bundesliga title this season.

Although Bayern haven’t won the league in the last two seasons they still remain dominant in Germany. The reason for this? Well the successful history of the club means players are drawn to play for Bayern Munich and therefore the club can afford to accommodate foreign exports such as Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

As well as having the history and a huge fan support to draw in players. Bayern Munich keep the squad full of German players to ensure the national side remains as one of the best Footballing nations in the world. The likes of Thomas Muller, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Manuel Neuer are all world class German players that play for Bayern Munich to prove that they don’t rely on just foreign exports.

Bayern Munich are a supreme in Germany and are currently head and shoulders above the rest in the Deutschland nation.

Yet Dortmund have won the league the last 2 years in a row, not to mention thumping Bayern Munich 5-2 in the German cup final.

what a god damn stupid article, you may like bayern or something but aye as you said they didn't win the league last season so how the f*ck can the reign supreme.

"Although Bayern haven’t won the league in the last two seasons they still remain dominant in Germany. "

    Retarded comment.

The Bundesliga has never been a one horse race

5 different teams have won the Bundesliga in the last 10 years.

Is this the same Celtic that had to fight back to get a draw with the mighty Ross County and lost to St. Johnstone? Hardly shows they are consistently better than the rest...
