    Top10 - Number 9: David Vaughan (Sunderland)

    Why: There is no hatred on my part towards the wee Sunderland midfielder, but he annoys me immensely. David Vaughan looks like he should work in a fast food restaurant or a library rather than a football pitch.

    He is one of those players who football fans outside of Sunderland never hear about until he is shown on match of the day putting the ball into the back of his own net, like in this clip.

    For that reason, he comes in at number 9.
