    Why: Ron 'Chopper' Harris was a defender for Chelsea during the 1960s and 1970s and was a tough old boot. He earned his nickname because of his unwillingness to contribute when stripping you of possession with a forceful challenge. Chopper is the defender that everyone desires in their backline and he has deservedly secured his place in the history of the club.
