Who: One of the German league's experienced midfielders. Meier has experience with Hamburg and St. Pauli but has made his name through his 234 appearances for Eintracht Frnakfurt. he has 174 Bundesliga games under his belt with 44 goals, including 12 in 18 this season, and has also generated an 81% pass accuracy in those games.

Where: Fulham was looking a likely destination during the summer for Meier as Martin Jol looked to take advantage of his knowledge of the German leagues. Another bid is likely from the Cottagers, despite being 30-years-old.

Why: His record this season speaks for itself. He would add bagfuls of experience into a team and also be able to act as a mentor to the younger members of the squad.
