Vilanova coy on Arsenal midfielder

Barcelona head coach Tito Vilanova has refused to comment on speculation linking the club with a move for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

The Cameroon international is thought to be a top target for the Catalan giants, but Vilanova isn’t prepared to openly discuss reports suggesting they are preparing a move for the 24-year-old.

Following the 0-0 pre-season draw with Manchester United, Vilanova said: "I prefer not to talk about players that aren’t part of the Barcelona team.

"I think it’s disrespectful to other teams if we talk about players that aren’t part of FC Barcelona."
