Di Matteo reluctant to comment on future of veteran pair

Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has refused to speculate on the future of two of his veteran players.

Florent Malouda and Yossi Benayoun were not included in the Blues' squad for their visit to Wigan over the weekend and Di Matteo did not wish to speculate whether they will still be at the club at the end of the summer transfer window.

Both have been linked with moves to other clubs this summer and it is thought the pair have been encouraged to move on to find first team football away from Stamford Bridge.

However, Di Matteo would not comment about the pair's future only to suggest to wait and see what the end of the transfer window brings.
