Toon Army brace themselves for battle

Newcastle chiefs are ready for a battle before the end of the transfer window.

Manchester United and Chelsea are being reported to be preparing bids for Newcastle midfielders, Cheick Tiote and Yohan Cabaye before the end of the transfer window.

The two players enjoyed immensely impressive seasons and had Newcastle fans worried about their future. However no formal approach has been made yet.

It is believed that both Manchester United and Chelsea will test Newcastle's resolve by making late bids for the midfielders.
