Garrido in Norwich loan

Lazio's Javier Garrido is undergoing a medical at Norwich City with a view to completing a season-long deal with the Canaries.

Ex-Manchester City left-back Garrido spent 3 years at Eastlands during the Sven Goran Eriksson era, but with first team appearances at a minimal, he left for Serie A where his career has failed to push on.

The 27 year old was part of Spain's failed Oympic bid in London and will look for a permanent deal at Carrow Road after the loan concludes.
