Another big name star signs for New York

New York Red Bulls seals signing.

Cahill, 32, sealed his £1million pound move to the New York Red Bulls, joining former Arsenal hero, Thierry Henry.

The Australian ended an eight year association with Everton, during which he made 278 apperances for the club. Everton signed Cahill for £1.5 million pounds from Millwall.

Cahill said he was looking forward to helping his new team to some silverware, who currently sit top of the Eastern Conference.

The price of the transfer still looks to be a deal well done by the New York Red Bulls who can expect Cahill to light up their season.
