Gunners will drop Arshavin price

The agent of out-of-favour Arsenal striker Andrei Arshavin believes the club will drop their asking price for the Russia international.

The Gunners are believed to be asking for £6m for the former Zenit St. Petersburg star, who spent time on loan with the Russian side last season.

Arshavin’s agent, Denis Lakhter, believes the North London side will drop their asking price, saying: “As we get closer to the [transfer] deadline, that price could fall further.”
