    Zola eyes former Arsenal man

Former Arsenal 'keeper Manuel Almunia could be set for a move to Championship side Watford.

Almunia was released by the Gunners earlier this summer and, newly appointed, Watford boss Gianfranco Zola would like to bring him to Vicarage Road.

The Spaniard found himself surplus to requirements at the Emirates last season and had a spell at, then Championship outfit, West Ham on loan.

With Scott Loach on his way to Ipswich, the Italian boss wants to bolster the Hornets goalkeeping options and is hopeful that a deal with the 35 year old can be completed within the next 24 hours.
