Chelsea in discussions with winger

Roberto Di Matteo has revealed that he is holding talks with Florent Malouda before any decision is made on the Frenchman's future.

Malouda, 32, has appeared set to depart Stamford Bridge, but a move to Santos has been thrown into doubt over salary demands.

The France international joined the Blues in the USA yesterday, ahead of their first training session today.

And, Di Matteo says that he will speak to Malouda before any agreement is reached about where the former Lyon man will play his football next season.
