Old Lady to swoop for Man Utd forward?

With Spanish hitman Fernando Llorente already in the bag Italian giants Juventus are looking for another striker to partner him and, the Daily Mail alleges, have their sights firmly trained upon the Premier League to find him.

Mercurial Liverpool forward is reportedly the Turin based club's first choice, but the Merseyside club's willingness to keep the Uruguayan may force them to look elsewhere. Step forward Manchester United's diminutive Mexican forward Javier Hernandez. At 24-years-old, Hernandez no longer sees himself as a young player, and as such is looking to secure himself more regular first team football next season.

Hernandez, who joined Man United from Guadalajara for an undisclosed fee in 2010, has an impressive record at Old Trafford of 31 goals in 70 appearances. Many of these appearances have been as a substitute, which adds further resonance.

Such a record has other clubs across Europe sniffing around 'Chicarito' (Little Pea) with Atletico Madrid, from whom Juve are buying Llorente, supposedly expressing concrete interest.

Hernandez will no doubt be frustrated however that he onces again finds himself playing second fiddle, as he seemingly has to wait upon the future of Luis Suarez before any potential deal involving himself can be set in motion.

Both Hernandez and Suarez still have three years to run on their respective contracts, and therefore neither would come cheap to a prospective buyer.
