    Chelsea consider Aubameyang move

Chelsea have joined the race to sign St. Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to The Sun

The 23-year-old has scored 32 goals in all competitions for the French outfit and has attracted interest from a host of clubs including Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester City.
So would the arrival of Aubemayang at Chelsea spell the end for comedy-king Fernando Torres and ex-Newcastle star Demba Ba? Or can Fernando prove he’s the man for the job?
Aubemayang has repeatedly stated his intentions to leave Ligue 1 and both Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle have also been tracking him.
A Chelsea move for Aubameyang could mean a change of plan for Ateltico Madid. The La Liga side are known to be planning on cashing in on their prized asset, Falcao, with Stamford Bridge  his likeliest destination. It would take a bid of £52m to secure the Columbian though, as stated by his release clause.
The Blues have struggled this season, partly due to a lack of a consistent goalscorer. At times their support play has been dazzling, with the attacking trio of Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Oscar attracting a whole host of plaudits. However, the many chances laid on often go begging with the Blues lack of goals contributing to their poor league and European form.
