Garay looks to force United move

If you want to bag yourself a move to one of the Premier Leagues big boys, it seems signing up with agent Jorge Mendes is the way to do it. Well that is what Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay believes anyway. The Mirror are reporting that the Argentine has signed up with Mendes in a bid to force through a move to his dream destination of Manchester United.
Mendes has seemingly gained his reputation by aiding both Cristiano and Nani's move to Old Trafford, although you would think that both had showcased enough footballing quality to convince Sir Alex to take the plunge rather than some sweet talk from an agent. However, Mendes might just counter that argument by stating that he aided Bebe as yet unsuccessful move to the Manchester club.
To be fair to Garay, his football does do enough talking for itself and he is already one of the worlds most sought after centre backs. However, whether he is the type of player United will be looking at remains to be seen. United's defensive issues seem to have been more than ironed out, with Nemanja Vidic now seemingly back to his best so for as much as Garay might crave a move and whatever he does it might well prove pointless.
