      Spurs seek loan deal to offload midfielder

      A trivia question for you; who scored the first goal of Fabio Capello's ill-fated spell in charge of England?

      Yup, Jermaine Jenas.

      The Daily Mirror reports that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to let Jenas go out on loan to a Championship club in order to get him some first team football.

      Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen for the midfielder to leave to get minutes under his belt and the paper reports that a move to Sunderland collapsed before the end of the transfer window with the deal falling through due to 'personal reasons'.
