Mancini not interested in Milan return

Roberto Mancini has dismissed reports suggesting he could leave Manchester City in order to return to Inter Milan. The Italian, who spent four years in charge of the Nerazzuri, told Radio 2 Rai that he was not interested in a return to the San Siro, amidst reports chairman Massimo Moratti had lost patience with current head coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
The former Italy international enjoyed a successful stint with Inter between 2004 and 2008, picking up seven trophies, including four Serie A titles as the Milan side dominated Italian football following the Calciopoli scandal.
However, the 47-year-old has denied reports that he is to leave the Etihad Stadium, insisting he is focused on the defending Premier League champions, while pleading with his former side to have more faith in Stramaccioni.
