Spurs interested in young Congolese striker. Apparently

Interest has grown across Europe in a Anderlecht striker according to the player's agent. Who would say that of course.

Sky Sports are reporting that the agent of Dieumerci Mbokani believes that Juventus currently head the queue for the player but Spurs are in hot pursuit.

Mbokani was signed in 2011 by the Belgian club as a replacement for Romelu Luakau and scored 15 goals last season.

The agent of the player says that Anderlecht could sell him in January and that clubs including Juventus, Fiorentina and Spurs are all interested in the Congo international.

One suspects holding one's breath is not a good bet on this particular rumour.
