Liverpool see Malaga ace as Gerrard replacement


Steven Gerrard has come under some criticism since Brendan Rodgers took over at Liverpool with a number of admirers admitting he may not fit into Rodgers favoured style of play, and although he is not expected to hang up his boots just yet, the club are actively seeking a replacement for ‘Mr Liverpool’.

The starlet is 12 years Gerrard’s junior, has been a regular for Spain at every level (minus the senior side) and already speaks better English than Stevie G, but the scousers are going to have to fight hard to land the signature of the former Valencia midfielder as Europe's big boys are starting to swarm.
