Odernwingie: prat of the week

Peter Odernwingie fears for his starting place in the West Brom team following his moment of insanity against Fulham on Saturday.

Odernwingie was given a straight red card after kicking Sascha Riether which compounded West Brom's 3-0 loss to the Cottagers. What a foolish moment from the Nigerian striker considering there was no need whatsoever to kick Riether. I understand how it must be when your team is losing and you are try make something happen; it is frustrating. I feel the same when I am losing at Fifa to a mate and, sometimes, I kick him. In the face. But I am not a professional footballer and Odernwingie should really know better.

So, yes, fear for your starting place Mr Odernwingie and in the meantime, whilst you're serving your suspension, get your head down, train hard, stop bloody tweeting all the time and show your worth to the West Brom fans who come to see you play every weekend.
