England forward on way out of Sunderland!

Despite earning his first England cap in February, Fraizer Campbell is apparently on his way out of Sunderland.

Martin O’Neill rates Campbell as his third choice centre forward, being the summer additions of Steven Fletcher and Louis Saha. And when you consider they also have the young Connor Wickham on their books, Sunderland appear to be ready to let Campbell leave the Stadium of Light. 

After his appearance versus Holland earlier this year, many expected the injury prone Campbell’s career to improve; however it appears Campbell is yet to earn a new deal with the Black Cats.

This blow means Campbell will probably be part of the ‘one cap wonder’ list; however many fans feel the former Manchester United forward was lucky to get the one cap he has!
