Everton loan deal for midfielder falls through

A man with potentially the best name ever has had his move to Everton not ratified by FIFA thus sparing football commentators many awkward moments of poor pronunciation.
Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe (in retrospect, easy to say, hard to spell) was due to join Everton on loan from Club Brugge but FIFA have refused to ratify the deal according to Sky Sports.
The Toffees announced the deal was in place late on transfer deadline day and believed all of the necessary paperwork was in place.
The move required clearance from FIFA but this has not been granted for one reason or another and now, in a statement released on the official Everton website, the club are now assessing their options about where to go next with the loan deal.
