Connecting the dots at the Liberty

Sometimes with football rumours, there is a certain amount of joining the dots to the whole thing.

See for example today the rumour that Pablo Hernandez is finally joining Swansea after a pursuit of a couple of weeks.

The Daily Mirror reports that Hernandez is set to join the Swans from Valencia after a fee of £5.5million was finally agreed which would equal Swansea's record transfer fee paid.

After refusing bids of £4 and £5.1m, the Spanish outfit have appeared to finally settled on a fee for the winger.

Now, here comes the joining up the dots bit.

One could pretty much draw a direct correlation between the beginning of the Hernandez to Swansea rumours and the start of the strong gossip that Scott Sinclair is a target for Manchester City and it's probably no coincidence that when one move is pretty sorted, the other reaches the finalisation stage of it's process.

So, all that remains is the signing on the dotted line now.
