    Gunners in for Milo

A popular Japanese television program sees a cat and a dog bury their grudges and embark on a series of adventures, going by the happy name of Milo and Otis. Sharing his name with one half of that duo is an Egyptian who suprisingly happens to be not a dog, or a cat, but a centre-half who is on the radar of Arsenal.

Sky Sports understand that the 21 year old defender, who more authentically goes by the name of Islam Ramadan, has alerted the Gunners after impressing in the recent Toulon tournament in France.

Milo currently plays in his native country for Haras El Hadood and has recently attracted the interest of Lyon, as well as, according to Sky Sports, Portuguese big boys Benfica and Sporting Lisbon.

It is well-documented that Arsenal need shoring up at the back after shipping 49 goals, the second highest total in the top eight, last season and young Milo could be the answer to the problems.

But will he be the answer at such a tender age? Well, Arsenal will do some more scouting at the London Olympics where the defender will be representing his country in the football competition, before progressing with their interest.

Such cautious hesitancy also suits the player according to Sky, who believe that Milo is in no rush to leave the land of Pyramids and ancient hieroglyphics for a top European club and instead wants to leave his options open until after the Olympic Games.

Despite being only tentative interest, Arsenal are believed to be on the pursuit of Milo, as well as Lyon and co. and the Egyptian could see his next adventure, without his animal friend Otis.
