    'Serious Offers' Only For Rhodes

Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson has reiterated Jordan Rhodes is not for sale unless a ‘serious offer’ is put forward.

The Terriers owe much to Rhodes following his 40 goals last season, which played a huge role in promotion to the Championship through the League 1 play-off final.

Rhodes’ remarkable season, including 3 hat-tricks, a 4 goal performance and a 5 goal haul, have alerted Premier League sides to the Scotland international’s goal scoring abilities.

Despite the 22 year old’s lack of experience at a higher level Fulham, Norwich and Reading are all hoping the carrot of the highest level football can lure Jordan Rhodes into leaping from League 1 to the Premier League.

Continuing links with a move to the top flight have not distracted Jordan Rhodes from planning for the new season with Huddersfield Town.

Simon Grayson and club chairman Dean Hoyle have discussed the situation regarding their star striker and are confident of keeping hold.

Grayson was quoted in the Sunday Mail as saying “Our stance hasn’t changed. It would take a serious offer to tempt us to sell.”

“The chairman Dean Hoyle and I have spoken to Jordan about where we want the club to go. He’s happy with the situation and so are we.”

“It’s business as usual. Jordan returned for pre-season and got straight down to work.”
