Moses interests duo, but will stay put.

Dave Whelan has forged a bit of a reputation in recent weeks for becoming a bit of a motor mouth, but he has taken a break from his war of words with Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre to block any attempt from the Merseyside club to sign his star asset, striker Victor Moses.
Moses has confirmed to MTN football that Liverpool and Chelsea have been chasing his signature in recent weeks, saying that if the offer was "cool", then he would certainly contemplate it.
This comes after Moses rejected Wigan's new contract offer as their proposed package fell below his expectations, he has one year left on his current deal at the DW stadium.
But the man behind the initials DW himself, Dave Whelan has told Goal.com in no uncertain terms that Liverpool and Chelsea might as well give up as the 21 year old will not be going anywhere, saying that Wigan have offered him a new deal they feel should be satisfactory.
Wigan, if they did have to sell their star attraction, are believed to want in the region of £10 million for the Nigerian they plucked from Crystal Palace five years ago for a cheeky sum of £2.5 million and it's not only Liverpool and Chelsea in for him either, but some other, unidentified Premier League clubs on the radar for the exciting prospect.
Moses scored 6 goals for the Latics as Roberto Martinez' side stayed in the top tier with a late charge from the bottom and Moses was one of their shining lights, so it is clear why Whelan, with his relatively industrial gob, would want to say things like there will be "no doubt" that Moses will stick at the DW.

Yeah Dave and Victor....the whole world are offering bags of money but he's going to stay....gotcha there guys. You "rejected" Liverpool's advances for Moses? THat's hilarious...LFC have made no offer nor have they even made a phone call to Moses' agent in regards a transfer. Ian Ayre was right...Dave Whelan is a comedian.
And to name the stadium after yourself? Ego explosion. No wonder you're fighting relegation. Your ego is more important than finding a proper naming rights deal. What a D-bag.
The stadium is named after DW Fitness, and not DW the man. It's not an ego boost, it is a cheap means of promoting his line of gym's.
Wigan would still have been floundering around in the lower leagues if it wasn't for Whelan, they might even have gone bust. The fact we fight against relegation every year and manage to survive is testament to Whelan and the way he runs the football club and the business.
You have know idea what you are talking about.
