Four way battle for Inter forward

A story in the Metro today reveals that Liverpool and Everton are lining up a huge, Merseyside transfer battle over a Dutch forward. Newcastle and West Ham United are also interested in the player but then the “Merseyside transfer battle” build up to that article would not have worked.
The transfer battle, complete with cavalry charges, slo-mo shots, arms falling off and someone being killed with a trident hopefully, will be over Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos.
Castaignos, who is Dutch and not Greek as his name suggests, joined Inter in 2011 after impressing at Feyenoord where he netted 15 goals in 41 games whilst also notching the most goals for Netherlands U-17s in history, helped by the fact he made his debut aged 15.
The 19-year-old has not found life easy at Inter, playing only six times in the league and scoring just the once resulting in transfer talk.
The player is rated at around £4.5m according to the Metro which is in the price range of the two Merseyside clubs, Newcastle and West Ham but it is unclear as of yet whether the forward will be loaned out for a season to gain experience or Inter want to rid themselves of him permanently but time and tonnes more speculation should make the picture more confusing.
Let transfer battle commence.
