      PSG prepare shock Carroll swoop

Paris St. Germain are believed to be tracking powerful Liverpool striker Andy Carroll with a view to submitting a move for the front-man.

Carroll has failed live up the his hefty £35m price-tag the Reds paid Newcastle United to secure his services 18 months.

A brief return to the form he shown at St James’ Park towards the end of last season convinced England manager Roy Hodgson to include him in his 23-man squad for Euro 2012.

And PSG are convinced he is the striker to lead their new look front-line next season having cooled interest in Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The bury AC Milan front-man has been strongly linked with a San Siro exit this summer as the Rossoneri looks to revamp their aging squad.

However, PSG have confirmed they won’t be bidding for the Sweden international and have instead set their sights on Carroll.

      Why Why why Why...

If they want to offer £20m+, sure. Otherwise, he's young, on reasonable wages, and has a lot of promise for the future. He'll never live up to the £35m price tag, but that's already spent now.

pipe down, have you never seen a liverpool game, keep you crap to yourself,he lived up to his price tag in the last 10 games alone

Ibrahimovic does not come from Bury!

Definitely sell Carroll, because Rodgers teams don't cross the ball much so what effing use is he to Liverpool? He's only good in the air.. Get 20 million and buy Ramirez and with our other money get a technical striker that scores goals Adebayor wouldn't be too bad he did well at Arsenal playing attacking passing football so would suit Rodgers system and get a right winger with pace and ability..

May be he hasnt lived up to 35 mil Tag ...... But He is a powerfull striker plus he is good in the air...... may be we can loan him for a season with 20 mil buyout clause....

The same sources have revealed that the deal is £10.5M. As a Liverpool fan this is a fantastic offer. Forget that he cost £35m (the biggest footballing transfer blunder in English premiership history). This is a good deal for a strictly average striker
