QPR move for Johnson

Queens Park Rangers are ready to move for Andy Johnson on a free transfer after he was released by Fulham.
The England front-man has been told he has no future at Craven Cottage four years with the West London side, netting 27 goals during his time with the club.
Manager Martin Jol is keen to bolster his front-line this summer and with Johnson commanding high wages, the announcement frees up funds for new signings.
And QPR have emerged as front-runners for his signature as they look to build on their Premier League survival.
The R’s brought in Bobby Zamora from Fulham in January and the experience that came with him was key to them avoiding relegation.
And manager Mark Hughes believes he can entice Johnson to Loftus Road as he continues the rebuilding process at QPR.
