Warnock makes Pearce signing

Jason Pearce, the Portsmouth captan, has signed for Leeds United for an undisclosed fee according to BBC Sport.
The 24 year old made 44 appearances for Pompey last season, having signed from South Coast rivals Bournemouth in the summer.
Neil Warnock, the Whites manager, told the official club website: 'He's just the type I look for when I go into a club at this level.
'He fits the bill for everything - hunger, ability and so on. There's a lot of plusses.'
The 3 times Champions of England are set to undergo a summer of change, after placing six players, including Adam Clayton who made 46 appearances in West Yorkshire last season, on the transfer list.
Another five players have been released.
A disappointing campaign for the Elland Road outfit saw them finish 14 points off a play off berth. While Pompey, up to their neck in financial strife, were relegated to League 1.
Leeds fans will hope that the arrival of Pearce will help to shore up the defence as the 2001 Champions League semi finalists bid for a return to the top flight.
