Ola to potential punning headlines

Terrible news for the writers of pun-tastic headlines in the sport sections of the UK tabloids today if the rumours coming from Talksport are to be believed regarding the future of Ola John.
Depriving us of such headlines as “John says Ola to <insert club here>” or <insert club here> in a Ola of trouble” and so on, Twente winger John looks set to snub moves to Sunderland or Aston Villa in favour for Benfica, which makes sense for a whole host of reasons when one thinks about it, not least of all the prospect of Champions League football and a warm climate.
Talksport cites Portuguese newspaper A Bola who report that Benfica have beaten off interest from a host of European clubs including Villa and Sunderland for the signature of the highly rated Netherlands youth international for a fee thought to be around £9m.
The Liberian-born midifielder has scored eight goals in 33 appearances for Steve McClaren’s side this year and is tipped as a star of the future.
The Portuguese report states that he has signed a five-year deal with Benfica and could prove to be a ready replacement for Nico Gaitan who has been linked with a move away from the club with Manchester United thought to be interested in his services.
