    Aguero: Madrid rumours aren't Real

A hero to many, Sergio Aguero maintains that he will not be a hero to Real Madrid supporters next season according to Sky Sports.

The Argentine has pledged his full commitment to Manchester City, although rumours persist that the striker will leave England after only 1 season to play for los galacticos.

After netting the 94th minute goal that secured the title for the Citizens, Roberto Mancini will feel that the £38million that prized Aguero away from Atletico Madrid was well spent.

The Etihad Stadium outfit are now planning on competing for European honours, something that Aguero is keen to play a key role in.

Speaking to The Times, he said: 'My future is at Manchester City.

'I want to stay here. My contract has four years left to run and I see myself being here at least as long as that.

'There are always rumours, but there is no truth in them. I am not thinking about moving to Real Madrid or anywhere else.

'City have treated me very well from the very first day I arrived, I'm settled at the club and my family are happy in Manchester, and I want to stay.

'I can win everything that I want to win here. We have won one title now and we can go on to win more.

'Once you have one, you are desperate for the second, the third, the fourth, and it will be the same with us. We won the Premier League title this season. Why shouldn't we believe we can win it in years to come, too?'

The 23 year old has enjoyed a fantastic first season in the North West, playing 34 Premiership games and scoring 23 goals.
