Remy wants Redknapp link-up

Who would have thought it; Harry Redknapp is a beacon of light that draws in European footballer moths to White Hart Lane on his reputation alone. At least, that’s the inference you can draw from a Daily Mirror story published today.
The paper reports that Marseille striker Loic Remy is keen to join Tottenham Hotspur but only if Redknapp stays on as manager at the club. Remy, who met up with Spurs officials in Paris last week the paper reports, is keen to play under Redknapp and is more concerned about that than which European competition Spurs are playing in next season.
Redknapp himself has just one year left on his contract at White Hart Lane and has yet to be offered a new deal by the Spurs board.
£22-million rated Remy netted 14 times in 43 appearances for the French club last season and also notched six assists. The story reports that Spurs do not believe his wage demands will be an issue but are still deciding upon a price with Marseille.
Meanwhile, another player not bothered that Spurs are playing in the Europa League next season is Ajax’s Jan Vertonghen who the Mirror reports met up with Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy this week. Terms have already been agreed but the club are haggling for a transfer fee between £10m (Spurs’ highest price prepared to pay) and £12.1m (the price Ajax would like) with Vertonghen already telling Ajax to accept no offers from any other club has he wants to play for Spurs.

If we can get Vertonghen, Remy and Adebayor signed up all we will need is a right winger. adam Johnson would be perfect as he can play left or right so he can cover Bale as well.
Ekotto is still a liability at the back and Friedel needs replacing, remy is not very profilic in front off goal plus modric is gonna be off so a cm with some creativity is needed
Modric going is not a big deal if anything it could be the best thing that could happen with that money we could buy some real quality.A attacking midfielder who can get goals not like his 5 in 3 seasons woeful take the money levy!
