Sunderland ready for the summer moves.

The Black Cats of Sunderland could be about to leap out of their cradle in a fit of transferring action for this summer as they aim to land improvements for Martin O'Neil's first full season in charge.
Local newspaper the Shields Gazette have already stated that Sunderland are set to compete for the first wave of free transfers and loan deals as clubs trim their squads for the off-season player-shopping frenzy, otherwise known as the "transfer window".
One player who could be targeted by Sunderland is Aston Villa's Carlos Cuellar, who has made it clear to Sky Sports that he wishes to stay in England following his departure from Villa Park.
The 30 year old Spaniard whom O'Neil brought to the Midlands from Rangers, is back in Spain mulling over his future, but admits he loves the English game and doesn't want to leave.
The Gazette mentioned Cuellar as a Stadium of Light target along with Mohamed Diame and Kevin Davies last Wednesday and Cuellar's ability to be more versatile than a pipe cleaner could see O'Neil take a punt after noting the need to improve the squad after a poor end to the season.
One player who could be heading out of the North-east however is Kieron Richardson who Sky Sports are linking with a move to Everton after David Moyes has made an enquiry for the left-midfielder turned left-back. He has 12 months to go on his contract.
The report also mentions newly-promoted West Ham as a contender for the 27 year old winger but like all play-ground disputes, it may be settled by the fact that Moyes "started" the bidding for the player who is believed to still be harbouring England hopes after a solitary cap back in 2005.
