      Is Mancini bluffing?

Mario Balotelli, the Italian described by many as an accident waiting to happen most certainly fulfilled that stereotypical view of him from critics alike, with a costly and disappointing performance against Arsenal at the weekend.

During a game where Manchester City knew it was effectively win or bow down to Manchester United’s Premier League dominance, Balotelli who in truth should have received his marching orders for an over elaborate and nasty challenge on Alex Song after just 21 minutes capped off a toothless and abject display with a red card in the final minute.

The man never far from controversy who has written so many outrageous headlines this term, wrote not only the headlines yesterday but perhaps wrote off his own future as well as the Citizens title dream, during a game that called for calm heads Balotelli was erratic personified.

Roberto Mancini after stated he will ‘probably’ sell the striker in the summer after he left the club embarrassed and eluded of the Premier League title for surely another year, however his agent has since came out and said he believes the youngster still does have a future at City.

I talked with Balotelli, the boy was sorry for what happened," Raiola told Sky Sports Italia.

"Mancini said he will be sold? I'm going to speak directly with Roberto and with the club, but I don't think they will really do it.

"Mario's intention is to remain in England and he has a contract with City.

"I understand they may be angry for the title which has eluded them, but, I repeat, I don't think so."

He went on: "I have not seen the episode because I'm travelling so I cannot comment but I can definitely say that there isn't a market strategy. If Mario would leave England he would speak quietly with City,"

"Does he have a future in Italy? Mario does love Serie A and he misses Italy,"
