Leadbitter hopes to prolong Tractor Ride

Ipswich Town midfielder, Grant Leadbitter, is unsure as to where he'll be playing his football next season as his contract nears its end.

He is yet to agree a new deal, and failure to do so before the summer would see him become a free agent.

A number of clubs are said to be interested in the Englishman, and Town boss Paul Jewell hopes to hold talks with the midfielder, who has scored 5 times this season, in the coming weeks.

The 26 year old admits he is happy in Suffolk, but isn't sure if he'll stay there beyond this season.

Speaking to the Green'Un he said: 'I would like to stay at Ipswich - I have never said I wanted to leave. But at the moment, I don't know what is going to happen.'

Leadbitter has made 31 appearances for the Tractor Boys this term.
