      Dunk wanted by Prem giants

Young Brighton and Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs after an impressive season for the Seagulls.

The 20-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions for the south coast side and has been a mainstay in Gus Poyet’s starting XI since making his debut in 2010.

His performances haven’t gone un-noticed, with England’s biggest clubs reportedly keeping tabs on the youngster ahead of the transfer window at the end of the season.

Arsenal were linked with a move for Dunk in January, while the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are monitoring the progress of the burly defender.

Poyet will be loathe to losing his prized asset, but a big money move could be on the cards in the summer with Dunk expected to win his first cap for the England U-21 side in the foreseeable future.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will be hoping to keep the 20-year-old focused on Brighton for the remainder of the season as they look to secure a play-off promotion place.
