Arsenal looking to loan samba star

Brazil international Kaka could be set for a move to England after Arsenal confirmed their interest in taking the Real Madrid midfielder to the Emirates Stadium.

Kaka has seen his career in the Spanish capital plunge after a series of knee injuries and a loss of form saw him unfavoured with current manager Jose Mourinho.

As such, the former World Player of the Year has made just 82 appearances in all competitions, many of those as a substitute, following his big money move from AC Milan in 2009.

And Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to take the 29-year-old to England in a bid to save his faltering career.

The Frenchman is determined to bolster his attacking options over the summer and has eyed Kaka as a possible arrival in a bid to improve his side’s attacking options.

Wenger is also hoping any move the midfield ace will convince captain Robin Van Persie that his future remains in North London, with speculation rife the Dutchman will be departing the club at the end of the season.
