£100 million 'might' capture Napoli pair

Now that Napoli are out of Europe and not guaranteed to be there next season the obvious links to their attacking couple have re-started.

Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi are possibly the most sought after striking partnership in Europe right now with the Premier League's biggest clubs continually being associated with the South Americans.

The Metro are reporting that Chelsea hope to sign Cavani with Manchester City in for Lavezzi.

Whether City actually need another forward considering the already magnificent front-line of Dzeko, Balotelli, Aguero and co. is another story.

Even so, it appears that the potential transfers may now actually happen considering the Napoli chairman has been quoted stating that although the Naples side don't wish to sell their prize assets, if a club offers ridiculous money then they may consider it-

'Right now everyone wants Cavani and Lavezzi but we are not looking to sell,' Aurelio De Laurentiis said.

'We are not using our players for the transfer market.

'But if some crazy guy wants to put down £100million, then, maybe.'

Expect the Napoli fax machine to be significantly busy in the summer.
