Clubs keeping a close on Hall contract situation

Fitz Hall is one of those players made for Championship football, so its no surprise that Sky Sports News are reporting that a number of clubs are monitoring the big mans contract negotiations with current club Watford. The 6 foot 4 defender has been one of the key components behind Watford's rise up the championship table, with his power, strengthand understanding of the game making him a real thorn in championship sides throughout the season thus far.

This form though has attracted the interest of a number of Championship clubs and with Hall out of contract at the end of this season Watford will be keen to complete a new deal sooner rather than later. Hall is a defender who knows the Championship inside having been an integral part of the QPR time that clinched promotion a couple of years ago whilst he has also had a successful spells with Crystal Palace and Wigan.

Hall is a terrifically reliable and experienced defender at Championship level and there few players who know this division like he does. So with this in mind should contract talks with him and Gianfranco Zola break down, there will be no shortage of suitors looking to secure his signature.
