Sturridge to have medical at Liverpool today

Reports have been bouncing all over the media today to suggest that Daniel Sturridge is to arrive at Melwood today to have medical ahead of a proposed move to Liverpool when the January transfer window opens.
Sturridge has repeatedly been frustrated at the lack of first team football at Chelsea and therefore he is hoping a move to Liverpool where at the moment have only one fit striker in the squad will give him the chance to play regular first team football.
Sturridge has made 14 appearances this season but most of them have been substitute appearances. He has only two goals to his name and as the Blues only play with the loan striker of Fernando Torres upfront Sturridge simply does not get a look in.
No official parties have commented on the deal but by 2nd January when clubs can start to register new signings it is believed a £12 million deal will be complete.
The 23 year old has progressed as a player in the International scene as well, after breaking into the England team and making an appearance in the recent 4-2 defeat to Sweden in a friendly as well as representing Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games.
