Wenger hints at move for Milan youngster

Arsene Wenger is looking into the possibility of signing AC Milan starlet Stephan El Shaarawy to prepare for the departures of Theo Walcott and Marouane.

And for the latter I use the word prepare very loosely. I am sure the only thing being prepared for the exit of the Morocco international will be a party…

El Shaarawy has set European football alight with his standout performances and his noticeable haircut and although the Italian attacker is only embarking on his first full season in the Milan first team, Arsene Wenger is willing to take the plunge and actually spend a bit of money to get him to the Emirates.

Yeah right, I will see it when I believe it!

The 20-year-old is enjoying life at San Siro though and has scored 13 goals in his 16 appearances so far in this season’s Serie A campaign and has also earned his first senior Italy cap, so the question to ask is surely why would he want to uproot and make a move to Arsenal?

Well, I will tell you why, Arsene Wenger has had some pleasantries to say about him

He told Eurosport: “El Shaarawy is a very mobile, very technical young player. His philosophy fits perfectly with mine.”

That is that one wrapped up then.
