Charlton secure tasty midfield treat

Charlton Athletic have poached their newest recruit from Iceland in an attempt to sure up their spindly squad, with Eggert Jonsson coming in on loan from Wolves.

The 24-year old has been out of favour since his arrival at The Molineux almost a year ago, and was hoping that when the new manager, a fellow Nordic Countryman, took control of the side he would get a run in the team, but alas.

Charlton’s last run out ended in a 5-4 victory over Cardiff so Chris Powell could have egg on his face if this move disrupts the team.
