      They went to war on the pitch this weekend with Manchester United coming out on top, 2-1, but Arsenal may prevail over United in the summer.

      The two Premier League heavyweights are ready to slug it out over Bayern Leverkusen and Germany midfielder Lars Bender. However there is a 3rd club in the running, Bender’s current club Bayern Leverkusen are ruling out any outgoing transfers.

      The Sun quotes Leverkusen director Wolfgang Holzhauser as insisting ‘we won’t sell anyone’.
